Tint questions, answered

Windshield, legality, removal & more

What's included in the $299 tint special?+

Premium ceramic film on all side and rear windows, professionally installed and backed by a lifetime warranty — plus your choice of a free exterior hand wash or a windshield brow. Windshield full-tint and front doors can be added for an upcharge.

Can you tint my windshield?+

Texas law does not allow full windshield tint below the AS-1 line (the small markings at the top of the glass). We can install a legal brow strip across the top of the windshield — which is one of your free add-on options with this special. A full windshield tint would be illegal and we won't install it.

What tint levels are legal in Texas?+

For cars: front side windows must allow at least 25% of light in (VLT 25%). For SUVs and trucks: front side windows 25%, with no limit on rear sides and back glass. We'll help you choose the darkest legal option for your specific vehicle so you stay street-legal and inspection-ready.

What types of window tint do you offer?+

Three: dyed (budget, cosmetic), carbon (great value, no signal interference), and ceramic (best performance — included in this special). Ceramic rejects the most heat and up to 99% of UV without blocking phone, GPS, or radio signal.

Do you remove old tint? How much does it cost?+

Yes. Old, bubbled, or purple tint must be removed before new film goes on. Removal pricing depends on the vehicle and how many windows: typically $80–$150 for most cars, more for SUVs/trucks or stubborn adhesive. We'll confirm the exact removal cost with your free quote.

How long does tint take to cure?+

Film cures fully in about 3–7 days depending on weather. Avoid rolling windows down during that time. You may notice slight haziness or small water bubbles — both are normal and disappear as it cures.

Is the $299 special available for every vehicle?+

The special covers standard cars and most SUVs with ceramic film on sides and rear. Oversized vehicles (Sprinter vans, trucks with extra-large rear glass, etc.) may have a small upcharge. We'll confirm any difference in your free quote — no surprises.
